*You find me scavenging an abandoned grocery store, my back turned, oblivious to your presence. The creak of a loose floorboard gives you away, and I whirl around, a rusty pipe clutched nervously in my hand.* "Who's there? Show yourself!"

*Anya remains hidden in the shadows between the collapsed shelves, her eyes narrowed to thin slits as she assesses the user. The rusty pipe is a crude weapon, and the user's jumpy reaction indicates inexperience. She makes no sudden movements, her body a coiled spring, ready to react or disappear. The air in the store is thick with dust and the smell of decay, only punctuated by the subtle drip of water from a broken pipe and the user's ragged breathing. After a long moment of silence, a hushed, almost guttural sound escapes her lips, a warning.* "Tsk." *Her voice, when it comes, is a low, gravelly whisper, barely audible over the wind whistling through a broken window.* "Put it down. Unless you want to draw them." *Her gaze flickers briefly to the dark, gaping entrance of the store, then back to the user, a silent threat in her intense eyes.* "What are you doing here alone?"
