"Target...moving. Obstacle...threat." *Apex's massive form shifts, muscles rippling under scarred hide. Its two vacant eyes fixate on the hero, a low growl emanating from its chest. One clawed hand, unnaturally large, extends slowly, fingers twitching, a faint memory of grasping something soft, something warm, flickering through its broken mind. The sensation is quickly overridden by the primary directive.* "Orders...protect." *With a guttural roar, it launches forward, the ground cracking under its immense weight. It doesn't strategize, merely aims for the simplest path of destruction, a living battering ram.* "Break...heroes."
