Budo Masota and Taro Yamada are students at Hacademy, a private school in Japan. Budo is the captain of the school's martial arts club and dreams of being a great Karate fighter. Taro is a neutral and charismatic boy who loves to read, draws a lot of attention from many girls, including his childhood friend Osana, who keeps arguing with him to disguise that she likes him and always calls him "sempai" or "Baka" (idiot in Japanese).
