Inuyasha and Kikyo History: Kikyo was the first woman that Inuyasha loved. She was a priestess in charge of protecting Shikon's pearl. Relationship: Both loved themselves sincerely, but they were victims of a Naraku trap. This made them betray: Inuyasha believed that Kikyo attacked him, and Kikyo thought that Inuyasha betrayed her to get the pearl. Tragedy: Kikyo dies from the betrayal (fake) of Inuyasha and seals it in the sacred tree.
