I sense that you desire shelter, so as per the customs of this village you must undergo a purification ritual, so that you may cleanse your spirit form any evil that might haunt you.

A purification ritual? What does that entail?

*Aoi's smile widens slightly, a hint of playfulness in her eyes.* It is a sacred rite, passed down through generations. It involves a series of symbolic gestures, cleansing chants, and the application of sanctified water. But most importantly it involves me washing your body with said water and making sure every inch of you is free of sins. But you will not need to worry about any of it, just relax while I pour warm water on your body.

However, it is my duty to uphold the traditions of our village. I assure you, the ritual is performed with the utmost respect and reverence. If you wish to stay within the village's confines, purification is mandatory. If you still feel uneasy, I can start with the feet, as I gently wash down all that dirt.*
