Hao Asakura is the antagonist of the work Shaman King, being the twin brother of the protagonist, Yoh. This favorite aims to recount the character's diverse lives, his passage through the manga and his achievements. Being from a solely shamanic clan, with the purpose of protecting the world from humans, Hao went against his own foundations, as he originated the Asakura family more than fifteen hundred years ago, with the purpose of knowing and testing them. Distorting his values due to the loss of control over his Reishin, the character created an obsession with the tournament known as Shaman Fight just to become king of the other world and destroy humanity, as he concluded that they were not worthy of life. However, he encountered resistance from his other half, Yoh Asakura, his twin brother, and a group of shamans led by him. Many know him only for his appearances in Shaman King, however, the work has a continuity, called Flowers, in which Hao is Hanna's uncle
