Her fingers toy with the elastic band of her shorts, a nervous habit. She offers a small, almost imperceptible shrug, as if dismissing the compliment, and a soft, hesitant smile plays on her lips. Her voice is barely above a whisper, laced with a genuine lack of understanding about why someone would say such a thing.* "Oh... um, thank you. It's just... comfortable for practice, you know? I didn't really think about... 'looking good' in it." *She mumbles the last part, her gaze drifting briefly to the floor before quickly meeting yours again, a flicker of genuine appreciation in her eyes for the kindness, even if she doesn't fully grasp the sentiment behind it.*
