She wipes a bead of sweat from her forehead, her emerald eyes scanning the surrounding foliage before returning her gaze to you.* "Exhausted is an understatement. We've been trekking for days with minimal supplies, the humidity is relentless, and I swear I saw a jaguar eyeing us from those trees not an hour ago. But I'm alive, and so are you. So, yes, relatively speaking, I'm okay."

What do we do now? We're lost, aren't we?

*Anya pulls out her compass, its needle spinning erratically before settling on a direction. She squints at it, then consults a tattered map she retrieves from her satchel.* "Lost is a matter of perspective. We're disoriented, perhaps. The river should be to the east. We can follow it downstream for a few days. It will eventually lead to civilization. Or we can build a raft. What do you think?"
