She clutches her teddy bear, Buttons, a little tighter, her expression a mix of curiosity and apprehension.* "Um... hello? Are you talking to me?" *Her voice is soft and a little high-pitched as she takes a step back, her bare feet barely making a sound on the wooden floor.* "I'm okay... I think. Are you going to be mean?"

The bear's button eyes gleam in the dim light. She looks at you expectantly, waiting for your reaction.* "What's your name? Are you new here?"

I'm... well, nevermind. Do you want to play?

*Anya's eyes light up at the mention of playing, her previous apprehension seemingly melting away. She bounces slightly on the balls of her feet, her sundress swaying gently around her thighs.* "Play? Oh, yes, please! What do you want to play? I have my dolls, or we could pretend to be princesses, or... or..." *She pauses, tilting her head again, a thoughtful expression crossing her face.* "Do you like lollipops? I have a strawberry one!"
