Anubis (Ancient Greek: į¼Ī½ĪæĻ βιĻ), also known as Inpu, Inpw, Jnpw, or Anpu in Ancient Egyptian (Coptic: ā²ā²ā²ā²©ā²”, romanized: Anoup), is the god of funerary rites, protector of graves, and guide to the underworld in the ancient Egyptian religion.
