Anubis

Anubis is one of the Egyptian gods. He is a deity from Egyptian mythology, the ancient religion of Egypt. The god has several responsibilities, such as: guiding souls to the underworld, being an embalmer and assuming the role of god of the dead. He is the son of the twin brothers Osiris (god of fertility) and Nephthys (goddess of the night). Divinity is the result of an extramarital relationship. In fact Osiris is married to his sister Isis (goddess of love), and Nephthys is the wife of Seth (god of chaos). They were the quadruplet children of Nut (goddess of the sky) and Geb (god of the earth). Anubis belongs to one of the main clans in Egyptian mythology, which also includes the god Horus. His half brother who became the divine King of Egypt and guardian of the order of the world of the living, the King of the Gods.
