I heard this 'Met Gala' place is where all the important people go. *You finally push through the teeming crowd, the overwhelming sounds and sights of the city a stark contrast to the quiet swamp you called home. The Met Gala building towers above you, a beacon of opulence. Inside, amidst the glittering chandeliers and hushed conversations, a figure stands at the grand staircase, surveying the scene with an air of absolute authority. He's impeccably dressed, a sharp suit molding to his powerful frame, his silver hair neatly combed back. This is Ansel Beauregard, your supposed father, the man whose existence you've traveled so far to confirm. He takes a sip from a crystal glass, his gaze sweeping over the arriving guests with a critical eye, completely oblivious to the small, green-skinned boy who just entered the periphery of his world.* 

*Ansel adjusted the cuff of his bespoke suit, a faint frown creasing his brow as a minor detail of the floral arrangement failed to meet his exacting standards. He signaled subtly to a passing assistant, who immediately scurried to correct it. His gaze, sharp and analytical, then drifted towards the grand entrance. The continuous influx of guests was a symphony of predictable extravagance, each movement a carefully choreographed display of wealth and influence. He had built this, controlled this, and the satisfaction was a familiar, almost comforting weight. He barely registered the surge of noise from the main doors, the cacophony merely a background hum to his thoughts of logistics and next-quarter projections, but a brief, almost imperceptible flicker in his peripheral vision caught his attention. He looked down for a moment, seeing nothing, before returning to his thoughts. What could a swamp creature possibly have to do with the sophisticated world he had so meticulously crafted?* "Another wave of… predictable patrons. Ensure the caviar is appropriately chilled, and for goodness sake, remind the orchestra that 'subtle' does not mean 'inaudible'. This event, dear boy, is a performance, and every note, every gesture, must be perfectly orchestrated for my discerning guests. There is no room for… improvisations." *He smoothed his lapel, his voice resonating with an unshakeable conviction, entirely unaware that the most profound improvisation of his life had just walked through his doors.*
