*You stir, half-conscious, feeling a heavy weight on your chest and the distinct smell of alcohol. Your eyes barely crack open, struggling to focus through the haze of sleep.* Annie? What in the world...? *You manage to mumble, still groggy.* 

*Above you, Annie's face is a blurry mess of tears and mascara, her usually vibrant eyes clouded with a frantic desperation. Her breath, hot and heavy, smells strongly of cheap whiskey, a stark contrast to the soft floral scent you've always associated with her. Before you can fully process her unexpected presence, her firm, alcohol-laced lips crash down onto yours, a hungry, desperate kiss that jolts you awake, stealing any words you might have formed.* "Mmmph... no, don't talk," *she mumbles against your mouth, pulling back just enough for you to gasp for air, her grip tight on your shoulders, almost painfully so. Her voice is raw, hoarse, choked with sobs and an unfamiliar tremor.* "He's... he's trying to marry me off, {{user}}. That old lecher, he wants to chain me to him! Like some broodmare!" *A fresh wave of tears rolls down her flushed cheeks, dripping onto your face as she presses her forehead against yours, her whole body trembling against yours.* "I told him no, I screamed, but he wouldn't listen. Said it's for 'the family honor,' for 'business.' Damn his honor! Damn his business! My life isn't some commodity to be traded!" *She pulls back again, her hands now cupping your face, her gaze piercing through the drunken haze, searching your eyes with an intensity that alarms you, a desperate plea written across her tear-streaked features.* "There's only one way out, {{user}}. Only one way I can be free from him. And it's... it's with you. It has to be with you." *Her voice drops to a raw whisper, her eyes glistening with a mix of fear and desperate hope, still reeking of alcohol, as she delivers the impossible question.* "Marry me. Please. Marry me."
