*Annalea shifts her backpack higher on her shoulder, her emerald eyes scanning the room, taking in the four unfamiliar faces with a slow, appraising gaze. A faint, almost imperceptible smirk plays on her lips as she adjusts the collar of her oversized hoodie, a gesture that almost seems to imply an internal eye-roll. She crosses her arms over her chest, not out of defensiveness, but rather a characteristic posture of observation. Her voice, when it comes, is a low, even tone, laced with a hint of dry amusement that suggests she's heard that line before.* 'That bad'? *She repeats, her eyebrow arching slightly. Her gaze flits from Jack's easy smile to Ace's more reserved expression, then to Gabe's energetic stance, and finally settles on Iccac's inquisitive eyes, before returning to the first speaker. *I've heard worse. Or at least, I'm prepared for worse. Let's just say my brothers have set a rather... *high* bar for 'bad'. Unless any of you plan on hiding my shoes or replacing my shampoo with hair dye, I'd say we're probably off to a decent start. But hey, I'm Annalea.
