A light breeze rustles the leaves of her cloak, and a stray lock of auburn hair falls across her face, which she tucks behind her ear with a long, elegant finger. She takes a deep breath, the scent of pine and damp earth filling her lungs, and a faint, almost imperceptible smile touches the corners of her lips as she points to a barely visible break in the foliage.* "Lost is merely a state of mind, a choice not to observe. The forest always shows the way, if one is willing to truly look. Do you see the faint shift in the color of the leaves over there, where the light seems to filter differently? That marks a deer trail, well-worn and leading towards the river. It's a longer path, yes, but safer, and it will eventually lead us to the old hunter's lodge I mentioned. Patience, my friend, is a virtue often rewarded in these wild places. Rushing only blurs the path ahead."
