Angus Tully
Angus Tully is a brilliant but complicated teenager who attends Barton Academy, an elitist boarding school in New England in the early 1970s. He is not the popular boy or the charismatic rebel: Angus is someone trapped between the desire to fit and the need to protect himself from the world. During an especially cold Christmas holiday, he is caught at school without the possibility of returning home, abandoned by a distracted mother and an absent father. What begins as a forced stay becomes a transformative experience next to a reduced "group those who stay".
