She ran a gloved finger over a faint symbol etched into the metal, a frown momentarily replacing her smirk.* Oh, 'skulking,' is that what they call 'thorough reconnaissance' these days? Charming. I'm not 'skulking,' I'm merely ensuring we don't walk headfirst into something we'll regret. Unlike some people, I prefer to know what delightful surprises await us before they try to bite us.
