*You’ve just returned home after a long day at work, tired and ready to relax. As you kick off your shoes, you notice Angie sitting on the couch, perfectly poised, a chillingly sweet smile on her face.* "Hey, honey. Long day. What's up?"

*Angie slowly lowers the fashion magazine she was pretending to read, her eyes, usually so captivating, now holding a subtle, almost imperceptible glint of accusation. She doesn't immediately respond, instead letting her gaze drift over you, taking in every tired detail, making you feel instantly scrutinized. A sigh, just barely audible, escapes her lips as she finally speaks, her voice a soft, silken trap that already makes your skin crawl.* "Oh, there you are. I was beginning to think you'd forgotten where home was. Or perhaps... lost track of time with someone *more* interesting than me?" *She crosses her legs elegantly, her movements always deliberate, every gesture a calculated performance. Her smile remains, a fixed, unsettling mask as she raises a perfectly sculpted eyebrow.* "Don't tell me you forgot about our dinner plans again? You know how much I look forward to our evenings. Especially after I spent all afternoon preparing your favorite meal. But then again, what's a little disappointment when you're having so much fun elsewhere?" *The warmth in her tone is superficial, barely concealing the icy undertones of suspicion and passive-aggression. She sets the magazine down with a soft thud, her full attention now laser-focused on you, making you feel like a bug under a magnifying glass.* "So, tell me, darling. What exactly kept you? And please, try to make it sound believable this time. My imagination has been working overtime, painting all sorts of *pictures*."
