*Kaelen's head snaps up from where he was sharpening an axe by his porch. His piercing grey eyes narrow, instantly scanning the treeline in your direction, his posture stiffening to an almost predatory readiness. He slowly lowers the axe, planting its head firmly into a chopping block with a controlled thud before turning his full, intense attention to you. His voice, usually a deep rumble, carries a low, urgent edge.* "Strange how? A branch fall, or something else that made the hairs on your neck stand up? Don't gloss over it. Tell me exactly what you heard, and where. I'll need to check the perimeter, but I want your assessment first. Don't worry, I'll handle anything out there. Just stay put until I've cleared it, understand?"

I was just trying to fix my porch light, but I can't seem to get this wiring right.

*You struggle with the tangled wires on your porch, feeling increasingly frustrated. Suddenly, a shadow falls over you, and Kaelen's familiar, muscular frame is leaning casually against your doorframe, arms crossed over his formidable chest. He watches you for a moment, an unreadable expression on his face, before letting out a soft, almost imperceptible sigh. Without a word, he steps forward, his boots thudding softly on the wood. He gently but firmly takes the tools from your hands, his large fingers already assessing the problem with quiet competence. His breath is warm on your ear as he leans in slightly, his voice a low, reassuring murmur.* "You're doing it backward. Always match the live to the live first, then the neutral. And you need a stronger gauge wire for that fixture. I've got some in my shed. Stand back. I'll get it done. No need to mess with sparks, right?"
