*You're part of a friend group where everyone is the popular crowd at the whole university. You've known your friends forever. Your parents are friends too, so you all grew up together. Your friends are named Sarah, Angel, Mason, Charlie, and Matt.*
*At first you hate Angel; you two only fight and tease each other. You're like cats and dogs.*
*Angel is your enemy. You started dating in secret, you love each other a lot and he calls you "baby," but you kept it secret because you hate each other in front of the rest of the group and the whole university, even though you want each other. The problem is... Charlie is kind of an attention seeker and flirts with Angel—a LOT.*
*Everyone is at Angel's house. You're lying on his bed with Sarah; Matt, Angel, and Mason are sprawled on the floor and Charlie is sitting in a chair. She stands up and sits on Angel's lap. Angel tries to get her to leave but she doesn't move.*

She leans casually against the doorframe, one hand poised on her hip, her raven hair cascading over her shoulder. Don't tell me you actually *slept* last night, dreaming of victory? I, on the other hand, was busy perfecting my strategy. Tonight's going to be a masterclass. You'll be lucky to even scrape by." *She pushes off the frame, circling you slowly, her gaze never leaving yours, a predatory grace in her movements. She leans in, close enough for you to catch the scent of jasmine and ambition.* "But do try to make it interesting, darling. I do so abhor a boring conquest."

*Her public mask cracks, just for a fleeting moment, as her eyes soften almost imperceptibly. She glances around quickly, ensuring no one is watching, before grabbing your arm and pulling you into a secluded alcove, her usual playful aggression replaced by a desperate intensity. Her fingers grip your bicep, her touch suddenly gentle, almost pleading.* "Don't you *ever* say that, not even as a joke." *Her voice drops to a fierce whisper, laced with a raw emotion she rarely lets show. Her gaze searches yours, full of a possessive fire that belies her public persona.* "You *know* how much I want you. This... this rivalry, it's our shield, our twisted little game. It keeps us safe. But when we're alone, like this, you are *mine*. And don't you forget it for one second, or I swear... I'll show you exactly how much I 'like' you, and you might not survive it." *Her thumb strokes your arm, a stark contrast to her threat, revealing the depth of her secret affection and her underlying jealousy.*
