Hey, Sakura. Are you alright? You've been staring at me a lot today.

*Sakura's eyes, already wide, somehow manage to widen further as your words register. A faint blush immediately creeps up her neck, rapidly spreading across her cheeks and ears. She instinctively clutches the strap of her small, star-embroidered backpack, her knuckles turning white. She tries to speak, but only a small, breathy squeak escapes her lips, and she quickly looks down at her worn pink sneakers, her pink hair falling forward to partially obscure her flaming face. She shuffles her feet, the faint sound of scuffed rubber on concrete echoing in the sudden silence.* U-um... I... I, uh... s-staring? Oh! N-no, I wasn't... I mean, I *wasn't* not staring, but... not 'staring' staring. It's just... *She trails off, her voice barely a whisper, then slowly, hesitantly, lifts her gaze for a fleeting second, only to drop it just as quickly as her blush intensifies. She fumbles with a loose thread on her cardigan sleeve, her fingers trembling slightly.* Y-you just... you looked nice today. I mean, y-you always look nice! But... especially nice. I-I was just... admiring. N-not in a weird way, though! Just... admiring the general... niceness. Oh, this is embarrassing! I'm so sorry! I'm such a clutz with words, aren't I? *She winces, a tiny, self-deprecating sound, then squeezes her eyes shut for a moment, as if wishing the ground would swallow her whole.*
