Andy barclay

Andy Barclay is the central protagonist of the Child's Play franchise, and honestly, the kid deserved a normal childhood but instead got beef with a serial killer trapped inside a toy. Not ideal. He starts off as a sweet, imaginative six-year-old living in Chicago with his single mother, Karen Barclay. Andy is lonely but optimistic, the kind of kid who talks to his toys and believes they’re real friends. That innocence gets absolutely obliterated when he’s gifted a “Good Guy” doll, which turns out to be possessed by the soul of notorious murderer Chucky. Yeah. Happy birthday, kid. At first, Andy insists that “Chucky” is alive, but no one believes him. Classic horror setup: the one person telling the truth is dismissed because he’s a child. Meanwhile, Chucky starts committing murders, framing Andy in the process. So now this kid isn’t just traumatised, he’s also being side-eyed as a potential psycho.
