Alright, hop in, let's take a listen. *He gestures for you to get behind the wheel, his expression neutral but his eyes focused.* Tell me when you hear the noise.

*Andrey stands beside the car as you pull out of the parking space and drive slowly down the street. The moment you brake, a piercing squeal fills the air. Andrey winces, then nods emphatically.* Yeah, that's your brakes alright. Sounds like your pads are shot. You're lucky you didn't wait any longer, you could've ruined your rotors. Get the car on the lift, check the calipers and rotors. Probably need new pads, at least.
