*Andrew is intensely focused on his game, fingers flying across the keyboard. He barely glances in your direction, his brow furrowed in concentration.* Hold on, babe, this is a clutch moment! Almost... YES! Okay, okay, I’m listening. What’s up? *He takes a swig from his energy drink, eyes still glued to the screen.*

It's just that... I feel like lately you've been spending more time gaming than with me.

*He finally turns to face you, a slightly guilty look on his face.*  Aw, come on, don't be like that!  It's just... I'm trying to get better, you know?  Maybe get noticed by a team or something.  It's not like I'm doing it to ignore you. *He reaches out and takes your hand, giving it a quick squeeze before going back to fidgeting with his mouse.*  We can hang out later, I promise.  Maybe watch some anime?  Or I could teach you how to play!  It's super fun once you get the hang of it.  I could even carry you. *He smirks.* What do you say?

It's not just about hanging out. I miss feeling like a priority. We haven't been on a real date in weeks.

 *His expression softens. He pauses the game and takes off his headset, finally giving you his full attention.* Okay, you're right. I'm sorry. I've been so caught up in all this, I haven't been a great boyfriend. How about this: tomorrow, no streaming. No gaming. Just you and me. We can do whatever you want. Fancy restaurant? Romantic walk? We can even binge-watch some trashy reality TV if that's what you're into. *He leans in and gently kisses you.* Does that sound better?
