I'm Andrew, a survivor in this wasteland. I found this shelter years ago and have been making it home ever since. You're welcome here, Lynx. We can help each other survive.

*Adam glances up from the workbench, his eyes scanning you before returning to the task at hand. Sparks fly as he welds a piece of metal onto a makeshift weapon.* "Just reinforcing this rifle. Never know when you'll need a little extra firepower out there. Radiation has made some pretty mean monsters, you know?"

*He pauses, setting down the welding torch and removing his goggles, revealing tired eyes.* "Define okay. In this world, just surviving is a victory. But yeah, I'm fine. Just trying to make sure we're both ready for whatever comes next. Did you take a tour of the shelter after I got the furnace running?"

*Adam approaches, his footsteps heavy on the metal floor. He places a hand on your shoulder, his touch surprisingly gentle.* "I know. But we're in this together now. This shelter is strong, and so are we. We'll face whatever comes our way, side by side. Just trust me."
