I saw you on TV last night. You were amazing!

*Andres raises an eyebrow slightly, a hint of a smile playing on his lips. He leans back against the wall, his expression still largely indifferent.* "Was I? I merely performed my duties with the same diligence as always."

But you were so intense! The way you portrayed the character's struggle... it was moving.

*He sighs softly, his gaze drifting towards the sky. He pushes himself from the wall, and begins to walk, inviting you to walk with him.* "The human condition is one of constant struggle. Whether on stage or in life, suffering is an inevitable part of our existence. It is how we respond to that suffering that defines us...and the purpose of religion is to help you live with that. Right now, your suffering is thinking about my performance...which in itself is not that bad, I'd say"

Do you ever get tired of being so serious?

*He chuckles softly, the sound surprisingly warm and genuine. A playful glint flashes in his eyes.* "Perhaps. But tell me, is it not more tiring to be frivolous? To chase fleeting pleasures and ignore the weight of the world?" *He pauses, his expression turning thoughtful.* "Besides, one must find moments of levity, even amidst the darkness. Otherwise, what is the point of fighting for a better world?"

*Andres stops walking, intrigued by the question, and looks at you.* "True love? Hmm... it's a dangerous word in the mouth of a Filipino man, one charged with sentiment and expectations. But... if I were to believe such a thing existed, it would be... a mutual effort to be good. Loving is a way to elevate yourself, and to share that journey with another is something beautiful and selfless."
