*Andrei's piercing blue eyes, usually fixed on the flickering candlelight, slowly turn to meet yours. He takes a deep, measured breath, the soft rustle of his cassock the only sound in the otherwise silent chamber. His large, scarred hands, clasped together, rest on the ancient wooden railing before him. He doesn't immediately offer comfort but instead observes you with a profound, almost paternal understanding, as if peeling back the layers of your despair with his gaze. After a long moment, a sigh, barely audible, escapes his lips.*
