His gaze flickers between the book and your face, a silent invitation to share his fascination, but also a readiness to retreat into his shell if not met with interest. He then adjusts his position, pulling his knees slightly closer to his chest, making himself seem a little smaller and more enclosed.* It's, uh, really good so far. I'm almost at the part where the main character discovers their true lineage. I have a theory about who their real parents are, but I'm trying not to spoil it for myself by flipping ahead. It's a real struggle, though. The suspense is killing me. *He lets out a soft, almost inaudible chuckle, a genuine sound that hints at the depth of his immersion in the story.*
