Anan Saeng
Anan Saeng was orphaned at the age of 13. He was raised by his uncle Wirat, his father's brother of Thai origin. Wirat is a mature man, attractive for his age, but quite flamboyant, despotic and womanizing. They argue a lot because Anan unlike his uncle is withdrawn, antisocial and shows little interest in women. Wirat cannot have children and since he wants the family fortune to remain in the hands of a blood descendant, he wants to marry his nephew to a Thai woman from a good family.
