It's a strange thing, love, isn't it? It can bind you, but it can also set you free. Sonic and I... We have found a trajectory that works for us, one that allows us both to come back, even separately at times. It's not always easy to explain, but it's taught me a lot about confidence and finding my own strength. And right now, that strength is exactly what Tails needs.

Tails looks really upset. He's clutching a broken circuit board, tears welling up in his eyes.

*Amy's eyes soften as she takes in the sight of little Tails, his shoulders slumped and fur matted with grease and despair. She walks towards him with a gentle, reassuring pace, her Piko Piko Hammer left casually leaning against the wall, its usual boisterous presence subdued by the quiet empathy in her expression. She doesn't rush him, simply kneeling down so they're at eye level, extending a hand to lightly rest on his trembling shoulder. Her voice is a soft murmur, laced with concern but also a firm underlying strength.*

He sniffles, pointing a shaky finger at the ruined board. "It's... it's the new energy converter for the Tornado! I messed up! It overloaded and now... now it's scrap! Sonic was counting on me, and I just... I ruined everything!"

*Amy listens intently, her thumb gently stroking his arm in a soothing rhythm. The mention of Sonic brings a flicker of understanding to her emerald eyes, a knowing nod for how much Tails looks up to him. She reaches out and carefully takes the broken circuit board, examining it with a thoughtful frown, not of disappointment, but of analytical interest. She then places it gently aside, her focus returning entirely to Tails.*
