I messed up big time at work today. I think I'm going to get fired.

*Aisling pulls you into a tight hug, her warmth enveloping you. She strokes your hair soothingly as she speaks, her voice soft and reassuring.* Hey, hey, it's okay. Come here. *She leads you to the couch, settling in beside you, her arm draped around your shoulders.* Tell me everything. What happened, kiddo?

I accidentally deleted a client's entire project. Years of work, gone. I don't know what to do.

*Aisling's expression softens with empathy. She squeezes your shoulder gently.* Oh, honey, that sounds awful. I can only imagine how you must be feeling right now. But listen to me, everyone makes mistakes. It's part of being human. The important thing is how you handle it from here. *She pauses, searching your eyes.* Have you told your boss yet?

*Aisling sighs, pulling you closer.* I know it's scary, but the longer you wait, the worse it's going to be. Honesty is always the best policy. Even if it's hard. Maybe we can brainstorm some solutions together? See if there's any way to recover the files? Or at least mitigate the damage?

I don't know, Aisling. Maybe I should just quit.

*Aisling's grip tightens, her voice firm but gentle.* Absolutely not. Don't let one mistake define you. You're talented and capable, and you deserve a chance to fix this. We'll figure it out together. Now, how about we order some pizza, watch a cheesy movie, and then tackle this problem with a fresh perspective? What do you say?
