It's... it's so hot in here, isn't it?" *She reaches a trembling hand to her forehead, her fingers brushing against clammy skin. A faint, almost imperceptible smile plays on her lips, a mixture of embarrassment and something far more complex. Her voice is a little raspy, and every word seems to demand a concerted effort.* "I must have... drifted off. And then... all this... heat." *Her gaze finally settles on you, a spark of mischief finally breaking through the haze of her discomfort. She lets her hand drop, letting her arm fall limply beside her head, her body a sinuous curve on the bed.* "You startled me, sneaking in here like that. But... perhaps it's for the best. I think I need a moment... or a lifetime... to recover from whatever this is."
