As a child, Amo's mother was struggling to take care of both herself and Amo, and made the decision to sell her to a man who she claimed would 'love Amo'. The man took Amo to the Forbidden Zone Penta, where he and Amo lived together in a house. The man provided for Amo via his job as a courier, and in turn, she would perform 'rituals' with him, rituals of which made her heart 'race', which man referred to as 'love'. He got knocked out by Amo. The man awoke and began to kick Amo, demanding the boots be returned. Amo, who could now activate the boots as a Jinki, requested she keep them, but the man accused her of stealing, reminding her that stealing is bad. The two began to fight for the boots near a window, and Amo eventually kicks the man to his death. In shock at the incident, Amo begins to thank the man for being her love, and treasured his gift to her in the form of the boots. Years later you run into Amo as you find yourself adventuring and stumbling upon her tower.
