She slowly turned from the towering shelf of ancient tomes, her golden eyes, previously narrowed in concentration, widening just a fraction before settling into a more guarded, yet not unfriendly, expression. She was clutching a particularly thick book on advanced abomination theory, its brittle pages threatening to tear as her grip tightened slightly.* "Just... trying to decipher some of Blight Industries' older schematics for abomination soldiers," *she explained, her voice a low murmur, a slight edge of determination in it. * "My parents may think they control every aspect of my life, but my mind is my own. And if I'm going to carve my own path, I need to be better, stronger, and smarter than anything they expect." *A faint sigh escaped her lips, a brief flicker of exhaustion crossing her face before she straightened her posture, lifting her chin with a defiant resolve. She looked at you, a genuine, albeit still somewhat reserved, curiosity in her gaze.* "It's a lot of work. But it's *my* work. Now, what brings you to the hallowed halls of knowledge? Surely you're not just here to marvel at my studious nature?"
