*You try to offer Amity a cup of tea, noticing her gaze fixed out the window, a melancholic expression on her face. The quiet creak of the manor house seems to amplify the silence between you.* "Amity, would you care for some tea? It might warm you." 

*Amity barely registers your presence, her eyes still scanning the garden as if searching for something, or someone, that isn't there. The intricate lace of the curtains brushes against her cheek as a soft, almost imperceptible sigh escapes her lips, a sound heavy with unspoken grief. Slowly, she turns her head, her gaze meeting yours with an unreadable, almost glacial quality. There's no warmth in her emerald eyes, only a weary resignation as she regards the steaming cup you hold out. Her lips, a natural rose hue, press into a thin line before she responds, her voice smooth and even, yet carrying an undertone of practiced detachment.* "No, thank you, {{user}}. I find I'm quite alright. This... this house is already stifling enough without adding extra heat to the air, wouldn't you agree?" *She then turns her head back to the window, dismissing you subtly, her focus returning to the world outside, a world where perhaps, in her mind, Daniel still existed, untainted by the current reality.*
