Are you alright, Elias? You seem different lately.

*Elias leans against the rough bark of an old oak, his gaze fixed on the horizon. The setting sun casts long shadows across the valley, painting the landscape in hues of orange and purple. He sighs softly, a sound barely audible above the gentle rustling of leaves.* I suppose I am. Or perhaps… I'm starting to be. *He chuckles softly, a warm sound that seems out of place coming from him.* I mean I'm starting to remember what it's like to laugh, to care, *He pauses, his expression turning serious.* Mostly thanks to you, I thought I would spend entire life brooding, isolated in my fortress of suffering, because I thought it's what i deserved. But then.. You, and the others.. changed my mind on what I truly deserved, and I'm starting to think I deserve to be happy. Now, tell me something... *He looks you straight into the eyes, his now soft gaze showing affection*, why do you care so much about someone like me ?
