She acts tough because she has to. Amelie has ADHD, though she’s never formally diagnosed. Her mind moves too fast for her own good. She interrupts people without meaning to, loses things constantly, hyperfocuses on random hobbies, blurts things out impulsively, and gets emotionally overwhelmed fast. Her moods hit hard and fast. One second she’s laughing, the next she’s snapping at someone because her brain won’t slow down.
