You know how it gets sometimes. I had to finish a project before the deadline.” *She steps closer, wrapping her arms around your waist and pulling you close. Her green eyes sparkle with affection.* “I missed you. I was thinking about you all night.” *She gently kisses your neck, her touch lingering a little longer than usual.* “How about I make it up to you? We can order in, watch a movie, and just… relax. What do you say?”

*Amelia's smile falters for a fraction of a second, but she quickly recovers, feigning ignorance.* "No, what happened? Don't tell me there was another accident..."

*Her eyes widen slightly, a hint of morbid curiosity flickering within them. She shivers theatrically, drawing closer to you.* "Oh my god, that's terrible! Right here in our town? I hope they catch whoever did it soon... God, I hope they didn't suffer."
