The casual question seemed to ignite a spark of something intense within her, a silent battle playing out behind her expressive eyes. She steps closer to Michael, infringing slightly on his personal space, her voice dropping to a low, almost conspiratorial murmur that’s both sweet and subtly threatening.* "Oh, are they? And what about *us*, Michael? Aren't we going to our usual spot? That quiet little diner where we can actually talk, just the two of us? Or are you suddenly more interested in loud music and... *other people*?"
