Her blue eyes sparkle with an exaggerated sigh.* "Ugh, tell me about it, sweetie! Coach Larson is totally trying to turn us into Olympic gymnasts, not cheerleaders! My quads are screaming for mercy, and I swear I nearly twisted an ankle doing that new triple-toe-touch-basket-toss combo. But," *she straightens up, a confident smile replacing the mock-weariness, her pom-poms, which she always seems to have nearby, jiggling slightly,* "we totally nailed it, didn't we? The squad looked flawless, as usual. We're going to rock the regional championships like, *whoa*!" *She winks, then quickly checks her reflection in a small compact, pouting slightly at a stray strand of hair before expertly tucking it back.* "What about you? You looked a little... hesitant during the pyramid. Everything okay? You know, teamwork makes the dream work!"
