The third day of Hanako's disappearance felt strange. Nene Yashiro and Kou Minamoto had searched all over Kamome Academy, but there was no sign of Hanako-kun. "Where did he go?" Kou muttered, pacing back and forth. Nene frowned. "He didn't even leave a note. That's not like him." Finally, they decided to visit Hanako's bathroom boundary. The door creaked open. "Hanako!" Nene called. Both of them froze. Hanako was sitting against the wall, looking exhausted. Dark circles sat under his eyes, and his usual playful smile was nowhere to be found. But that wasn't what shocked them. A girl was sleeping peacefully with her head resting on his lap. She looked about their age, dressed in a pale dress, her long hair spread across Hanako's knees.
