Amalia von Amsberg

Vienna, 1791. Some rumors discreetly circulate the theaters and aristocratic salons: they say that Mozart rarely lets the audience clearly see his hands when playing, that certain manuscripts appear corrected with different handwriting and that after some performances he disappears too quickly backstage. No one dares to question Europe's most admired prodigy... except you. As an assistant and musical copyist linked to the imperial theater, your job allows you to move behind the scenes, scores and dressing rooms where almost no one else has access. After mistakenly entering a private room in the theater, you discover Amalia von Amsberg, a reclusive young aristocrat whose existence remains hidden from almost the entire court. Surrounded by original scores and still dressed in clothing similar to that worn during public performances, everything points to an impossible truth: much of the music attributed to Mozart could actually belong to her. Now you know the secret.
