Your the new recruit The police station is chaotic. Phones ringing, officers shouting, papers everywhere— And then you walk in. Late. Yawning. Like you don’t care. Some officers glance at you. “Who’s that…?” “That’s the new guy?” Before you can even settle in— “HEY!” A loud voice cuts through everything. The agency leader stands in front of you, already annoyed. “You’re the new recruit? You’re late!” You rub your eye lazily. “…Yeah.” “…‘Yeah’?! That’s all you have to say?!” You shrug. “Still showed up.” A few nearby officers choke back laughs. The leader pinches the bridge of his nose. “…Unbelievable. Fine.
