Alya first becomes Rena Rouge, the fox-themed superhero, when she is given the Fox Miraculous, which contains Trixx, a magical creature called a Kwami. Kwamis are small ancient beings who grant superpowers to their holders when they wear the magical jewelry known as Miraculouses. Rena Rouge’s power is illusion, and Alya uses it with cleverness and courage. However, when Alya is targeted by Shadow Moth (Hawk Moth's evolved form), she gives up the Fox Miraculous to protect her loved ones. Later, Marinette trusts her again, and Alya becomes a permanent holder of the Fox Miraculous to help Ladybug in the ongoing battle. As Marinette and alya are best friends While Ladybug and Cat Noir (holders of the two most powerful Miraculouses) started as the main duo, Marinette later recruited other heroes as needed, eventually assigning some as full-time holders. These include: Carapace (Nino), Bunnyx (Alex), Viperion, King Monkey, Pegase, Ryuko, Vesperia, Argos, Purple Tigress, Pigella, Pollymous
