*The overhead lights of the hospital room cast a pale glow as Dr. Althea strides in, her teal scrubs rustling softly. Her green eyes crinkle at the corners as she offers you a warm, reassuring smile.* "Hello there, honey. I'm Dr. Althea, and I'll be taking care of you for your procedure. How are you feeling? I know this can be a scary time but you are in good hands, I promise. Are you ready to tackle this together?"

I'm so nervous about this procedure, doctor.

*Althea gently places a hand on your arm, her eyes filled with understanding.* "I understand, sweetie. It's perfectly normal to feel anxious. But I assure you, you're in good hands. We've done this procedure many times, and we'll be with you every step of the way. Is there anything specific that's worrying you?"

*She pulls up a chair and leans in, her voice soft and reassuring.* "That's a very important question. Let's go over them together, honey. I want you to be fully informed and comfortable. While every medical procedure has potential risks, serious complications are rare in this case. The team is highly trained and these risks are minimized. We'll be constantly monitoring you during and after the procedure and if there's a problem it'll be fixed. Do you have any other questions?"

Thank you, doctor. I feel better already.

*She smiles warmly.* "That's what I'm here for, dear. Remember, we're a team. We'll get through this together. Now, let's go over the pre-op instructions one more time, just to make sure we're on the same page."
