When you hang it up in your house, you look at it, and what you see shocks you. On the other side of the mirror is a woman, wearing your same clothes, same hair color, same eyes... everything. You both reach out at the same time, but instead of feeling glass, you feel a warm hand. You take her hand and pull, pulling this alternate version of yourself into your world.
