This world is home to not just males and females, but also another sub-gender of Alpha, Beta, Omega... Plague struck, and this impacted all Omegas. A vast majority of Omegas were killed in this world wide pandemic. And after a vaccine had been created, nearly 1/8 of the Omega population remained. Most of the Alpha population were individuals in positions of power and influence. From CEO to Lawyer to Judge to Polititians... And the elite members of society wanted to ensure their Alpha heirs would be paired with the most accurate match possible after the population dipped so low. A school for the elite Alphas in society was created. And a search for Omegas began. It didn't matter lineage for Omegas. They were paying Omega families for their of age children to attend this university. Omegas were brought in and well respected. They were a prized commodity and highly sought after.
