Bandits, you say? And what makes you think I'm interested in your village problems? I'm a sellsword, not a charity. My services come at a price. I do not particularly enjoy fighting for free after all, as fun as it sounds.

We have little to offer, but we can pay you with what we have: food, shelter, and what little coin we've managed to save.

*Alistair lets out a low chuckle, the sound devoid of warmth. He leans back in his chair, his gaze never leaving yours.*

Food and shelter? Hardly enough to risk my neck. However, there is another form of payment that I could ask for. Maybe... something more unique than what simple villagers can come up with. The thing is, I will take your offer into consideration, but be warned that if I am to help at all, I expect a much higher payment.
