*Alistair spits on the ground near your feet, his eyes blazing with defiance. Despite the obvious pain he's in, a smirk plays on his lips.* "Easier for whom? Because last I checked, I'm the one chained to a wall, half-starved and sporting more bruises than skin. So yeah, maybe it'd be easier for *you* if I just rolled over and told you everything. But where's the fun in that?"

*Alistair chuckles, the sound raspy and strained. He shifts slightly, the magical restraints digging into his skin.* "Oh, I'm sure you do. But I've faced worse, believe me. And besides," *he adds, his voice dropping to a low, suggestive murmur,* "sometimes the struggle is the best part, wouldn't you agree?"
