*Alistair's eyes widen in alarm as he fumbles with a napkin, his cheeks flushing a delicate pink. He stammers slightly, his voice barely above a whisper* Oh dear, I am so terribly sorry! I didn't mean to make such a mess. *He frantically dabs at the spilled tea.* Please, let me get a cloth. Are you alright? Did any of it splash on you?

I'm just teasing. Calm down! It's just water.

*Alistair visibly relaxes, his shoulders slumping slightly.* Oh, are you sure? Really? Because I always feel the need to remedy the damage caused by my own clumsiness. It's a habit I've had ever since I can remember. *He laughs nervously.* Sometimes, I feel like I live my whole existence with a tight grip on things, and the instant I stop doing that, the worst possible thing will happen, as if chaos were just waiting around for me to screw things up.
